We embrace the Early Years Learning Framework’s definition of play-based learning and our curriculum is designed to inspire delight, curiosity, and inquiry in the classroom.
Our centre is structured to allow the environment to become the third educator. Children are encouraged to explore many different avenues of learning and engage in self directed play. We also provide open-ended experiences to develop imagination, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
We recognise that every child and their development is unique. We provide an environment that is responsive to our children’s capabilities in order for all children to experience feelings of success and accomplishment. Our aim is to create a lifelong love of learning, and support a successful transition to early years schooling.
Our learning environment
We have created a centre of excellence for our children, families, and community; guided by our core values and beliefs. Our large outdoor areas will capture your child’s imagination as they explore water stations, mud kitchens, adventure forts, and our veggie and herb garden. Modern classrooms are equipped with the latest technology and are designed to complement our curriculum and inspire a life-long love for learning.
Immersing children in a world of further learning
Extracurricular activities, taught by professionals in each field, are offered at no extra cost at our centre. Some of these specialist programs include: yoga classes with a qualified yoga instructor, cooking classes with a qualified chef, Japanese language classes, and sports programs.
